Tere sheher mein raha kete thy,
Hum bhi chup chap jiya karte thy,

Aankhoon mein piyas howa karti thi,
Dil mein toofan utha karte thy,

Log aaty thy ghazal sunnane,
Hum teri baat kiya kiya karte thy,

Ghar ki diwaar sajane ke khatir,
Hum tere naam likka karte thy,

Aaj ter Tasveer dekhi to yaad aya,
Khabi hum bhi Muhabbat Kiya karte thy,
