When I used to write poetry, One of the shair from first ghazal was like:

Kuch kami hum hi main reh gai warna
bewafaon si uss mian nishani na thi koi

tum aksar sochtay ho gay
hum tmhain yaad nahi kartay

tmhain hum bhool jatay hain
magar yah bhool tmhary hai

asal mai baat kuch youn hai
k jab tum yaad aatay ho

to kuch b yaadnahi rahta
aur tmhary yaad mai kho kar

batana bhool jatay hain
humain tum yaad aatay ho
