barham hoti hai yoon bhi tabiyat kabhi kabhi

Ae dil ke naseeb ye taufeeq-e-izteraab
milti hai zindagi me ye raahat kabhi kabhi

josh-e-junoon me dard ki tugyaaniyon ke saath
Ashkon me Dhal gai teri surat kabhi kabhi

tere qareeb rah ke bhi dil mutmain na tha
guzri hai mujh pe bhi ye qayamat kabhi kabhi

kuch apna hosh tha na tumhara Khayal tha
yoon bhi guzar gai shab-e-furqat kabhi kabhi

Ae Dost ham ne tark-e-muhabbat ke bawajood
mahsoos ki hai teri zaroorat kabhi kabhi

kuch yuun lagaa ki husn sitaaron me ghir gayaa
dekhii jo un kii maa.ng me afshaan kabhii kabhii

dil par lagii jo chot to jii bhar ke ro liye
yoon bhii kiya hai dard kaa darmaan kabhii kabhii

naadaa.N ho is qadar tumhe.n ye bhii Khabar nahii.n
chalataa hai masalahat se bhii insaa.N kabhii kabhii

tum un ko kyaa kahoge jo jhuuThii anaa ke saath
dekhe gaye libaas me.n uriyaa.N kabhii kabhii

mujhe zindgi ki dua na do mujhe zindgi ki tlab nahi
kabhi jeena mujhko aziz tha yeh beja sahi magar ab nahi
