Hurr aik eitabaar se houn aaj tuk houn faqatt faraybe khayal mein

Meri zindagi ka shumaar hai na firaaq mein na wisal mein

meray ghour o fiqr kay zawioun mein hain pehray essay lagay howay

yeh majjaal hai kay Teray siwa koi aa to jai khayaal mein

meri aarzo mera muda-aa koi aur ess kay siwaa nahin

ghumay yaar hai tu jahaan hai tujhay kia kammi mujha kia nahin

teri be niazi ka (zikr) na kar mujhay koi tujh se gilla nahin

tu hazaar baar juda rahay teri yaad dil se juda nahin

yeh kahan ka (roge) hai kia kahoun meray dil ko kaif zara nahin

woh millay to koi maraz nahin woh nahin tu koi dawa nahin

kabhi na’ala labb pay jo aa giyaa tu kissi nain hanse kay ye kheh diyaa

ussay koi haq nahin ishq ka jissay khoo-i sabr-o raza nahin

I think this was written by Amanat Ali…What is in Brackets (…) am not sure if it is correct…

if someone has the full version I would like to have it…this hamd is rendered in a Qawwali…

caring for ones beloved means the World, you have no needs and I am all needy

You are Independant of all, and I do not complain to you for that

tu hazaar baar juda rahay teri yaad dil se juda nahin

You can stay apart 1000 times but your rememberance never leaves my heart

yeh kahan ka (roge) hai kia kahoun meray dil ko kaif zara nahin

this heart aches I can not say there is no peace of mind at all

woh millay to koi maraz nahin woh nahin tu koi dawa nahin

In His presence all is healed and in his absence there are no cures

kabhi na’ala labb pay jo aa giyaa tu kissi nain hanse kay ye kheh diyaa

If lament is uttered by the lips then some will laugh and say

ussay koi haq nahin ishq ka jissay khoo-i sabr-o raza nahin

He has no right to fall in Love, who is not willing to submitt to patience

In thine hands is my well being and Eternity and thine hands is my Judgment

mujhay naaz hai hai kay Teray siwa koi aur mera Khudaa naheen!..
