I am listening to the songs right now...it seems like he's trying to style many of them on Indian ghazals (jagjit style). Really, he used to have his own style before. After his techno failure (which wasn't so bad of an album - just needed some brushing up - title track was a good song) Jadu, I guess he's trying to look for that Chand Ka Mukhra magic.
I don't know - I would give the album 2 thumbs down except for the title track Tera Naam Liya Tho, but then again, I'm not in the mood for this kind of music right now.

for once listen to a pakistani song without going into indian crap. listen to his old songs from earlier releases and you'll see this album is what ali haider is all about. melody, nice lyrics and good compositions. yeah a few experiments in between didn't work out as planned but he is still a mega-hit singer. and for God sake don't always try to bring in indian stuff whenever you talk about an album. leave that for indian albums. thankyou!!!
good God. I have heard his earlier stuff. The sweet unique character of purani jeans and Sandesa is just not here in this album for me.
I stick to my original comments. It sounds like it came from the Indian ghazal market.

Actually I kinda gree with PCG here. I wont call it jagjit style but the album does sound kinda Indian. It just doesnt have the same Sandesa or Qarar touch to it.
