Two killed in Assam encounter
A police officer and a dreaded ULFA militant were killed in an encounter inside Durapani forest in central Assam’s Morigaon district on early Tuesday morning, police said. Police said the encounter took place when the officer-in-charge of Nelli police station, Uttam Pradhan, along with CRPF personnel were searching the area on the basis of specific information that two insurgents were holed up in the forest. On spotting the security personnel, the militants fired at them injuring Pradhan, the sources said. The police retaliated killing one of the ultras- a ULFA militant-identified as Numal Bodo, on the spot at around 1.20 a.m. The other militant escaped under the cover of darkness with all their weapons and arms. The police officer succumbed to his injuries on way to Morigaon civil hospital, the sources added. A massive search operation has been launched to trace the fleeing ultra.
**Two Haryana trucks torched in Assam over train killings **

An angry mob in Assam on Saturday torched two trucks from Haryana in retaliation to the killing of three Bodo youths who clashed with Haryana policemen for allegedly sexually assaulting women train passengers. A police official said tribal Bodo activists in the western Assam district of Kokrajhar burnt down two trucks bearing Haryana registration numbers. No one was injured in the attack. “Police have already taken custody of the two damaged trucks and we are providing additional security on the highways to prevent further attacks,” Kokrajhar district magistrate H Sharma said.
Four persons, including three members of all Bodo Students Union (ABSU), were killed and several others injured when some Haryana police personnel travelling in 4056 Up Brahmaputra Mail opened fire on an agitated mob at Salakati railway station in Western Assam on Friday. Inspector General of Police (Law and Order) DK Pathak informed that a mob had gathered at Salakati railway station to stop the train after reports of alleged misbehaviour against some girl students by a Haryana police personnel group inside a reserved compartment in the train. Superintendent of police Kokrajhar BK Bhuyan told UNI that the miscreants have also damaged the Kokrajhar civil hospital in which three Haryana police jawans were admitted owing to incident of firing at Salakati railway station.

Problem in assam because of baangldesh who have send millions of people to turn area into muslim majority. Congress party walas allow this to get muslim votes when these people should be expelled from our terrirtory.
