That’s seems correct. It is Taliban’s fasaad on Pakistan. Purpose was that the SSP was probing murder of lawyers committed by Taliban’s brethren, Sipahe Sahaba.

KARACHI: Four people including two policemen were killed while 14 others were injured when a suicide bomber targeted a police official at Malir Halt area of Karachi on Thursday, Geo News reported.
The banned outfit Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility of the attack.

this incident happenend in Bahadurabad, very close to where my relatives live :(
report says they were targeted because they belonged to religious party! both of them were sunni, seems some sort of desperate attempt from monsters to create more rifts between shias and sunnis!

2 Scholars of ASWJ were martyred on monday , seems like paving way for secterian killing(add this with shahadat of Moulana Aslam on may 13). Appears that killing of sunni scholars dont make a news .

Bayhissi of all the stakeholders in Karachi qwalify for presidential award. After all this they will contest next elections only and only banking on short term memory of the victims pluse lil help of terror.

**An additional force of 500 policemen has been called from interior of province under a well-planned strategy to combat the crimes especially the extortion, targeted killings and kidnapping for ransom in Karachi.
The additional force has been deployed at different places in the city, while the measures are being taken to strengthen the number of police personnel deployed at posts and pickets particularly in old city trade centers.
Moreover, 1000 surveillance cameras are being installed at trade and business centers and they would start functioning shortly, as currently these cameras are being tested.
