Re: Tendulkar’s flamboyance is history, says Viv Richards
yarr ghussa na kar…Sorry if I sounded rude… but naheen yarr, they are two different type of players…both of them are great but they have a different style…let me throw more light on it…players like Yoyo use their wrist a lot and play a lot of delicate shots with a soft hand…let me give you an example……consider playing a late cut…the way yoyo plays the late cut, Richard ka bapp be waisay late cut nahiee khel sakta…he simply can’t because he is a different sort of player… if you really want to compare Yoyo with some one, probably, mohammad azhar ud din, david gower and zaheer abass are the closest comparisons…
On the other hand, Viv Richaards was a master blaster….Richard was known for the sheer force he used to put in his shots, the authority with which he used to hit the ball and the cleanliness of his strokes…..Every shot that came off Richard’s bat had his own signature stamped on it…..but of course, Richard was not that wristy and for sure he never played any shot with a soft hand…….in my opinion, if any one ever resembled Richard to some extent, it was Richie Richardson. i hope I have made my point…..
Again, I apologize if I were rude before…..Regards…..
