Did anybody catch the premiere episode on FOX tonight? The show is a bit controversial as some viewers don’t agree with the premise of the show: four committed couples coming to an exotic, secluded island to test the strength of their relationship by voluntarily spending 2 weeks apart from each other (no direct communication at all) while each is ‘tempted’ by other gorgeous single people who they date and live with. Some people think the show is immoral, unethical and simply sinful.
MQ: its tempting to watch hard bodies and all this drama since most of us don't have that going on at home. I watched it last season on and off, its gonna be the same thing all over again like Paradise Hotel or Survivor. If you want reality series, that Alter show is good. Oh oh, Fear factor is a good reality game show (better than dog eat dog).
I find Fear Factor too much to watch … the challenges where they have to eat nasty stuff or be covered with rats/insects … no thanks.
Temptation Island on the otherhand, woooooo, I’m sorry, but some of the single men are simply gorgeous. I watched it last season too … where that guy, Ali, made it to the final 4. I wonder if he was Pakistani and what the community would have thought of his behaviour on the show.

The people who have serious issues are the ones who have no lives and watch behuda programs like Temptation island.
Just watching the promos make me want to get up and take a shower.
The program is definitley aimed for all the 3rd class people in USA, which is about everyone.
I expect you will receive an applause from Entity Paradigm … Khair, thanks for the compliments.
Reality t.v. is a popular form of entertainment on television these days … and yes, some of us here in North America enjoy it! In fact … I’m quite looking forward to the premiere of The Bachlor. I wish they did a Pakistani version of that show. It would be hysterical.
Scare tactics is good. Havn't watched Temptation Island yet. I used to watch MTV's the Real World. It was one of the most sad arse shows I have ever seen.
I am not that much into the reality shows. But some people do enjoy them.
yeah just like you receive support from you buddies, the same way ppl share & appreciate my opinions and values which are often based on moral and ethical grounds :~)
reality tv sure is popular. i’m just waiting for the time when they will start to show how to treat your GF like a bag of $h!t, how to befriends with a 13 year old and then enpregnate her, how to rape someone, how to be a terrorist and blow WTC & then blame some 3rd world country for unimaginable gains etc etc etc. all this is reality and definitely deserve its own show. i’m sure you’ll find unparallel thill and entertainment afterall ppl like u are their intended targets :~)
