i guess our faith encourages us to control our temper... kinda like controlling our nafs... we want to do something but our Deen tells us to do the contrary as that is what is best for us, as well as others around us :)

absolutely. like being honest about things and saying it correctly, the rest is the interpreter's will to understand correctly as intended or not.
self-control or kaboo of nafs is a very interesting phenomenon.

^ interesting it may be, however, dangerous it definately is... nafs hi to hai jiss ki wajha sai we commit the sins we do :( sahi qaaboo hota to humari imaan kahaN hota :(

and what u said is true now that i gave it more thought... no matter how pure our intentions are, some ppl just choose not to see the good and pick out the bad...
