well, no but i suffer discrimination. i was told by my two bosses in two different sections in the same company. “you are an expat” when i told them that i deserved a promotion!!! they are intimidated by me… HA HA HA HA HA… they need to remove those towels and let some fresh air through their heads!!!

Asif2000, Im in customer services. A CSR for almost 3 years. Had an ambition to be a supervisor. Still a dream. Think it'd remain a dream in these circumstances.

yesterday my boss left w/o telling any of the higher ups. He's an avid birdwatcher, and a member of a local birdwatchers club. So yesterday he got all excited on the phone and said "its been spotted at the entrance (of a federally protected nature area). So he just got up and left nonchallantly to look at birds..and he came back 5 hours later. Freak.

My immediate boss (sits 4 chairs to my left) is a female less than 30 or maybe just above 30, and an MBA from a local college

She’s also a part time DJ on a local FM channel.

She’s a great boss. Efficient. Cooperative. Professional. And the best thing: Just. Gives credit when its due and provides critcism when necessary and has a practical approach towards things. Doesn’t pick on her subordinates unneccessarily as many people do.

I think her only shortcoming is she can get moody sometimes but that doesn’t happen regularly.

In the beginning it took me some time to get used to her temperament but we now have quite a good relationship.

Sounds like my boss when i worked for FM radio in Pakistan
