No I don't think I have.
As far as books from INdian authors go. i have read pretty much all Devakurni, syal, Akhil Sharma, Vikram Seth, Vikram Chandra, Mohsin Ahmed,
Oh one I really liked was Death of Vishnu. Sort of life in mumbai

Life isnt all... was one awesome book though.. and a suitable boy...

The Alexander Trilogy by Mary Renault.
Its about Alexander the great, the first book in the trilogy is about Alexanders childhood and life in ancient Greece. the second about militry conquests through Asia and the book is in the style of a narration as seen through the eyes of a young man who was there. and the third book is about what happened after Alexander died...the power struggle between the various characters etc.
Its not 100% historically correct but it is an interesting book.

Ravage, I am reading everything and anything related to the political economy of the LIEO.
and the process of regionalisation.Now, thats another thing that I don’t get all of what I am reading 
anybody got material on that, plz forward that to me.
One of my students lent me this book, ‘Asia Ka Muqadma’ by Mohatir Mohammad, translated by Mr. Naeem Qadir. Its more like a commentary with a bit of analysis on the Asian Miracle, Asian Values, East Asian Economic Crisis and a lot more. So, I am trying to read that too whenever I get time.
I have just started reading Da Vinci Code. Now, I don’t know when I am gonna complete that

minerva, Asia ka Muqadma sounds quite interesting. i doubt the urdu version would be available here. perhaps i'll look for the english version.
