singing is certainly not haraam… it was common practice in the day and age of Prophet :saw: - I’m sure most of us have heard of “nasheeds” and the most famous one of them all when the Prophet migrated to Madinah:
“Tala al Badru Alaina…”
As far as music goes, some cite is as haraam based on the Prophet’s dislike of it when people were distracted and astrayed from their prayers and worship and there was a hadith in the context that anything that takes one away from God is prohibited…
a moderate view it may be but if one listens to music for entertainment purposes and that entertainment does not interfere in any way of the prescribed prayers etc., then I think its not haraam either.

I actually listen to worse stuff than that but just because PB listens to it doesnt mean its halal or allowed. I NEVER said listening to songs is okay especially rap and vulgar stuff like that. If you want i can PM you the list of things I do that are actually not halal in islam
Porn is not banned in Quran(not a single ayah!), does that mean thats halal too?

Whether people agree with it or not, its proven by various hadiths that singing is not recommended especially considering the content of the songs these days.
Your argument is based on something that holds no credibility.....Hadiths.... plz give me a break...
