The file size should be less than 75 KB, as has already been mentioned. If it’s a graphic - jpg/gif - you can optimize it to reduce the size. If you don’t know how to do this, you can do it for free a few times here:

Thank you, yes your scan of the hadith did finally come through... i'm sorry i haven't been in touch until now... i'm desperately busy with my head down in some urgent work, this is the first time i've been back to the forum in a few weeks. Hopefully work should quieten down soon and i promise to then give your scan my full attention.
