let me just start with it.

you know how you upload your personal pictures sometimes? Removing the tag doesn't remove the picture from the server .it stays there forever (i think).

The safest thing is to simply not make public (by posting on the internet) anything that should remain private.
That said, yes, those pictures of you in your chuddies are out there and, dude, google has a long memory.

At the end of the day, one should ask, does their information really matter? are they that important? and if they are, then anyone who needs to get information about them has many different ways of getting that info anyways.

One can worry about some run of the mill identity thieves getting their hands on public information people foolishly post on GS or twitter or facebook or any other public platform, for which reason, dont post any info anywhere which someone can use.

Now as far as personal information about you goes, between your banks, companies you do business with, credit card companies there is enough data out there about you that you would be surprised to find out. Now if you are one of those people who lets say govt agencies of some place have an interest in..maybe you are under observation for mixing water in milk before you load the canisters on your bicycle to go deliver to customers, well govt has other ways to keep tabs on you.

Now azkar is a man of principles and will never sell your info and never compromise on the security of the info on this site. I am a very different story, if i can get him committed to an insane asylum, I will be all over selling you clowns personal information...but am not sure if marketers would really find blogs with info like someone had parathas for sehri, or someone's saas is a nagan, or someone thinks 'insert actor name' is really hot is very valuable data to begin with...the information about your preferences and consumption patterns is already out there baby..tons of companies in the space..how else do you think you get mail offers and emails and telemarketers calling you?
