Telephone manners

Re: Telephone manners

no but yesterday i had to stand side by side with the big boss at the urinals, and he wanted to make small talk. there's more to the this but unless you are familiar with guys plumbing and stress, it wont be funny. we both had to stand around for like 2 mins doing nothing. awkward as ever.

Re: Telephone manners

Oh gawd. Men have a very horrible life :nahi:.

Re: Telephone manners

I dislike leaving voice msgs…feels weird talking to myself…so I never leave voice msgs.:bummer:

I dislike the “aur sunao” & "wht else " its time to finish the convoooo

Re: Telephone manners

I always leave a message. Almost always. So next time when the person is retuning my call, he/she knows why I called so even I could not pick up the phone, the person can leave a proper reply.

Re: Telephone manners

In my whole life I have never left a voice msg :bummer:

Re: Telephone manners

I do not like it when people call me and then talk to their cat whilst im listening, and then have the audacity to talk to me with the same mouth. It's just wrong.

I love leaving voicemails, I can say what I want without interruptions, I hate being interrupted. I would actually prefer just leaving voicemails, my voicemails are really good.

Re: Telephone manners

^ free lessons :chilly:?

Re: Telephone manners

Sure, you just talk really really fast about whatever you want for as long as you want, ask a question or two and then answer them yourself and then sing a little song and then end with 'ok then byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee'

Easy peasy.

Re: Telephone manners

Kindergarten ?:bummer:

Re: Telephone manners

How rude! That was genuine advice. I'm afraid im going to have to open up a Life 1 thread about this Princess, you leave me no choice. :(

Re: Telephone manners

Singing a song gave u away :snooty:

Re: Telephone manners

phone pe chappar chappar ki awaz is very annoying.

also they are on the phone with you and suddenly their other phone rings and they tell you to wait while taking ages talking to the other person.....call ke paise zaya karte hain.

Re: Telephone manners

:hinna:

Re: Telephone manners

But I sometimes do sing a song when I leave voicemails, it’s a nice tihng to do when you have such wonderful gift that is also known as my singing voice.

Still crying about that Slim Jim? I was explaining something, you cannot interrupt somebody when they are explaining something, especially me.

Re: Telephone manners

I liked it.

Re: Telephone manners

:hoonh: I’m now gonna call one of my friends and eat over the phone. Haven’t done it for a while.

Re: Telephone manners

Yes, hearing someone consume their food (especially stuff like chips) is annoying....I knew someone who'd do that often. You know what else is irritating? When...your friends tell you to talk to their baby/kid on the phone for the next few minutes. Then you have to lie to them...."Haa haha yes, (the several minutes of silence/one word answers) was sooooooo daaamn cuuuuuuuuuuute."

Re: Telephone manners

YES! SO annoying! Also, when people talk to their kids while you get to wait for them to finish their never ending conversation with their child. :hoonh:

Re: Telephone manners

^You know what's even funnier, Passionate?

How some of the parents with lil ones on here....are reading the above posts...and paranoidly wondering if their friends lied to them about their kid's adorable conversing (or absence thereof) abilities on the phone. And also how some of them might think about this the next time they hand the phone to their kid. Muawhahahahahahah!

(Now..all the khalas, mamoos, phuppos, aanis and uncles.....are gonna throw tamaater at us).

Re: Telephone manners

Oohhhh....I'm so calling you right now and putting Thing 1 & Thing 2 on the line...bahahahahahaaha!!!
