oh God!!! Dont even get me started on the whole Desi and telephone manner things. This one time i was on the phone to a friend and my dad picked up on the other end and started dialing and i was like “dad can you put the phone down pleaaasee” and he asked “who is this??” and i said “your son”. Dad “my son vhere you calling from??..OH MR SONNY??” (he had a friend called sonny). And what is it with them always having to say bye like 5 times lol. And then theres mum lol. An entire convo on the phone consists of three words. hanjee, haa, jee. And they all mean the same thing.
