Re: Telephone manners
OOOH…Damn, how could I have forgotten that one. And it’s usually women…often times Black women (in my observation). They’ll be so loud that everyone can hear their bidniss…“Oh HELLL no she didn’t! I told her she betta…bla bla bla bla.” This one time…as I was walking into the store of a gas station…this woman was behind me …talking so loudly on her phone…“How come I ain’t hear from you no more? You ain’t callin me no more. What’s up with that?” (something along those lines). I wanted to …good Samaritan that I am…tap her on her shoulder and tell her, “He ain’t interested in you no more girlfriend”…but I chickened out. Then she goes in the store and asks the cashier about the store’s address and said that someone was following her. So much drama in that store.
Looolll I have this problem but always with middle-aged Bengali men or Nigerian men who shout down the phone to make sure the person on the other end hears them.
Gahhhh
