Do you believe in it? Can we feel people's energies? Up close, you can attribute some of it to what you observe of their body language and their words. But can we feel people's energies from a distance?

Telepathy means I think knowing what the other person is thinking. They don?t have to say anything and you know what to do. This happens by getting to know each other well. I don?t think there is anything such as a persons energy levels. We have charlatans in India who make a living preaching such stuff and makin a healthy living. These Cadillac gurus are a pox on society, redvelvetu
We can feel (or assume) people’s energies if we know their patterns due to prior observation. But if you mean, can we sense random strangers’ energies without ever coming in contact with them, then I think not (unless of course there’s data out there to support it ).
But telepathy isn’t feeling the energy. Is it?
Yes I have personally experienced it believe it or not! it happens to people who are real close to you, I was thousands of miles away and I called my wife about our 4 yr old girl’s finger getting caught in something! sure enough my wife told me our daughter’s finger got caught in the car door! she cried a little but was ok! no damage done!
I know it can not be explained! is it Telepathy? or is it sharing the hurt some how? who knows? Wallah Alam!

They are discovering the significance of brainwaves in our cognitive functions, I believe we can sense the other persons brain waves and get to like them or get a chill down our spine. Dogs for Epileptic patients can sense the waves before the seizure, Scientist studied friends brain waves and they were similar so chemistry is such a huge thing and hence another case of why arranged marriages are bad, you need to find someone where your chemistry/brain waves match. As a couple my wife swears we are telepathic, she would be craving sth and I would cook it for her.

Yes it was a dream plus a very uneasy feeling that suddenly awoke me, that our daughter had hurt her finger!

I thought premonition or dreaming about an event is different animal than telepathy which is a different animal than intuition.

You’re right. It is different indeed. I had multiple topics in mind when I made in this thread. But I find them all (dreams, telepathy, intuition, premonitions) all very fascinating. So, everyone is welcome to discuss their take or experiences with any of them. The more the merrier.

I do believe in premonition in the form of dreams and intuition. Although I hardly remember what I dream the morning after. As far as telepathy is considered, I lump it together with fortune telling / numerology / horoscope reading and am not a believer. I consider all of this a form of shirk

(I had such dream since childhood.)
The fact that you were uneasy before it actually happened and top of that you shared it with someone, shows that you remember a dream clearly.
And then it happened which makes theories about dream which scientists believe wrong.
Because those theories say we see junk whole night long, when some thing similar happen in real life our brain goes back and pull out memory of similar dream. And we say “I saw that in my dream”
But in your case you remember before it occurred.
Strange place this world is.

You know Red, you couldn’t have posted this topic at a better time. I had the strangest experience recently. Out of nowhere, I had a vision about two women discussing passing of a young woman in a road accident and someone saying it’s such a shame, she had so much potential and had all the life ahead of her. I dismissed it at first but the next day, I overheard my mom talking on the phone with a family friend and them discussing about a beautiful young woman passing in a road accident and repeating what had come in my vision. Just odd as heck! Never ever has that happened to me before. I still have no idea who that poor girl was, I didn’t want to freak anyone out so didn’t ask or say anything.
Bushra Maneka had a vision too, one of the slick moves of religious folks. Any over weight unattractive woman planning to cheat on hubby and getting it on with a better looking more influential guy should drape herself in 100 yard of fabric, do lots of mantars and then say she had a vision and boom!!! magic from being called a hoe you are revered. Yupp!! truly believe in the power of vision, once I become a fake peer, I will use this trickery.
BTW we have thousands of dreams and we never talk about the ones that didn’t come true, dont eat things that give you indigestion, read happy materials and have positive thoughts and you will have sweet dreams.
I am not telepathic but have made eerily correct predictions and my wife thinks I possess special powers, for eg, on my boys birth she told me she had a vision that she should name him Muhammad Islam. This was when Muslims were loved in North America and no one dreamt about negativity to follow. I told her one day there will be a big terrorist attack and Muslims will face backlash and soon after 911 happened. Then she made me immigrate her family, her nieces were educated, smart and very beautiful and I told her they wont have good careers and will not find husbands. Now in 30s that prediction came true. She had friends and the witches ganged up on her and I told her they will fight amongst themselves and they did.
I wouldn’t let my kids make friends with ultra religious kids, told my wife one day by association only they can get in trouble and now I hear my SILs nephew who is a pathologist got arrested because he hung out with guys under surveillance, my brother helped him get acquitted but lost 7.5 yrs of his life.
So do I possess special powers?
