its holiday season in uk so been watching lots of paki news shows online. Only party that cought my respect was PTI, but is it any big back home?

Imran was surprised and his question was "but there are so many ppl in my realise"
Same GOP has predicted PTI to be a consider able force in previous election.
BTW GOP is most relay able surveying agency of Pakistan. Known to accurate.

I disagree. For majority of Pakistanis, PTI means Imran Khan and nothing and no one else.

It's a Party in the making, kind of. Doesn't have as big a votebank as the other contenders like MMA/ANP/MQM/PML(all factions)/PPP(all factions)
Their philosophy seems to be appealing, but w/out a strong enough votebank it is really hard to compete and win enough seats to make a major policy change. There need to be grassroot efforts to shore up support, and makes its candidates known nationally. The only known and somewhat supported member of the party as of right now is the Party head Imran Khan. Others are either unknown or have very small sphere of influence in their area(s).

You didn't answer yet how PTI was going to win majority in NWFP? Taliban votes?

Its good to be optimistic but hey .... shouldn't there be a limit to it? To the extent you went, optimism turns into a joke :)
Answer to the question is (btw its also a ground reality) that Immi bhai is not in the position to win more than 1 seat (ok 2 if we are being optimistic) for whatever reason. You can go on talking about the reason like "Jageer dana nizaam", "Jahil Awam" and so on but answer remains the same. Imran Khan is unable to inspire masses with his political wisdom.
15/20 years down the road? may be, today or in next 5 years? no way. Pakistan's political culture is so that you need to get nursed by a dictator to become a popular political leader (NS, Bhutto, Altaf, Qazi, Fazlu being classic examples). Immi bhai tried to attach him self with Mush in early days too bad Mush dumped him.
