Re: Tehran
If you have been to middle east before - you would find it bit same ... I like when some one above said it is like karachi in a lot of ways .. well at least for traffic , it is indeed .
Although I am in favor of the glorious tourist attractions of Isfehan, Shiraz and Persepolis but Tehran has what it takes to make you to feel the pulse of modern Iran.
One of the greatest marketplaces in all of Iran, which you should visit is Tehran bazaar. There you will find shops for everything from copper to carpets, spices and rip-off designer brand stores. Make sure to brush up you bargaining skills before you visit the bazar to buy souvenirs.
You should also visit National Jewel Museum, which houses the most impressive jewelry collection in the world.
If the place , where you are staying is not far from Raamtin Residence Hotel then you must visit Bradt's Iran bills Bistango International Restaurant and If you feel like having a Thai curry or a plate of sushi, and want to order off an English-language menu then go the Monsoon at Ghandi Ave .
