Has anyone read this book? I couldn’t stop laughing at this book…She set out to make herself come across as an “emancipated woman”, who happened to free herself from the clutches of her barbaric husband…total baqwaas! She was just as much to blame as was Mr Mustafa Khar…does anyone know what happened to their kids?

I don't know what to think about that book. I had the impression that she's too much trying to proove herself as a victim. But at the same time i did like the poltitical part because it was the first time i red something about it. The facts can't be that much wrong.The information about her personal life, well it's her point of view we don't know the truth... But the part with her husband and her sister was a bit too spicy, i refuse to believe that a sister would ever do that.
yeh, i was also wondering what happened to her kids. . .

I read the book a little while back, and I didn’t feel sympathetic towards her, mainly because she’s a cheating, unfaithful woman. Nowadays, she’s the second or third co-wife of Shahbaz Sharif (Nawaz’s brother) and she works on women’s issues. She helped Fakhra, the ex-wife of Bilal Khar (Mustafa’s eldest son) go to Italy for reconstructive surgery after Bilal cruelly disfigured her with an acid attack. http://www.time.com/time/asia/news/magazine/0,9754,170879,00.html
As far as her kids go, I think she sees them regularly, but they’re all grown up now. Her stepdaugther Aminah, is Aminah Haq, the famous model. Aminah’s mother was Mustafa Khar’s wife (Sherry) when Tehmina got together with him.

**Aminah Haq is his daughter! woah…she’s like well beautiful!..but how did she ever manage to get into modelling with a father like that?..As for the book…the only good bit about it was the fact that it did give an interesting insight into the politics of Pakistan, quite an interesting read…but what wasn’t so interesting were the details of how she had been betrayed by every single person she ever came across…she brought it upon herself-a married woman, she had eyes for Khar…and eventually got what she deserved! **
…And why is she with that “takloo” brother of Nawaz Sharif…I know she isn’t no beauty queen, but what on earth did she see in that ganja??? LMAO I suppose her kids are still in UK, no doubt flirting and migling within the rich and elite brit-pak social circle…

I liked the book, but anyone who knows them in person says that she is totally bakwaas karring.

It did seem that she was laying it all on with spades (the bullsh*t)...but still it was fascinating to read about all the corruption and scandal...and to think it was happening in the UK! (I thought back in the 80's the brit-paks were quite conservative and reserved...buts she's like goin on about intra-marital affairs and vodka shots and all sorts)...Muniya...do u kno what the situation is with her kids???

i did read this book a few years back...and got a good insight..on the corruption...and the scandles...her kids are grown up doing their own things..

I still can't believe that aminah haq is Mustafa Khar's daughter. . . I was wondering all the time how a man like him would allow his daughter to be sooo famous and be a part of showbiz but on the other hand he divorced her mother and i think she grew up with her...

Ironically Sherry Rehman is now a MNA in the PPP and Khar has rejoined the PPP as well..

Hmmm...personally I don't see the resemblance....maybe its the fact that she doesn't have some big a$$ moustache on her face LOL....she is quite stunning you know! She probably uses Haq to snub her father, and the fact that his treatment of her mother was less than acceptable...

As you say she was having sex with other men when married herself, she is hardly innocent, and of course Khar is hardly an angel. Two sides to every story.

I know what you mean dude…the woman is outrageous…I mean fair do’s she’s teling her story…but freaking hell she doesn’t hold back on details does she…I seriously thought that Pakistan back in the late 70’s/early 80’s was all conservative and you know decent…but she painted a different picture for me…
all the sex drugs and rock-n-roll that she vividly describes!
But why would sharif marry her?..surely he must have heard all of the crap she got upto?
