so when did your babies cut their first teeth? how did you ease them through it? Share some stories please/

aariz popped 4 teeth (top and bottom front) at 6 months. all in one go. i didnt notice at all until one day i was hand feeding him and i felt the sharp edge. he mashallah cut all his teeth with no issues... happy go lucky.
genie.. popped the same 4 teeth at 7 months... all without issues... but she had a hard time with the molars. those hurt her .. panadol ... teethers didnt really help nor did she care for him... got her a toothbrush.. the ones for gums... and that was her best friend... panadol and brush was all i used for her difficult period... and she also threw up cuz of buildup of phelgm.. thats the first time i heard of a kid throwing up cuz of teething.. but its true. thankfully it only last for 3 days during the worst of the teething... and the usual loose motion .. cant really do much bout that...
all in all.. in my exp.. i would say... u cant do much in teething.. i didnt use the teethin gels cuz its only a 20 min relief thing and it also numbs their throats.. not safe..i used the 22 homeopathic teethign tablets too.. but they didnt do much either. just bear the difficult period with one thought in mind.. its hard for the baby and it WILL go away as soon as the tooth has cut through the gums.. tahts the only hard part.. once the tooth is out.. it doesnt hurt when it grows to its full size.
oh.. and double bibs! thats how much my kids drooled... it was very funny... even though the bibs had plastic backing... they would get so wet i could squeeze out the drool.. haha... so i bought LOADS Of bibs.. and sometimes aariz especially. .would wear a doubl ebib :D

Lady bug didn't start teething till her 7th month and then she got two top ones and two bottom ones, thankfully, she dealt with it pretty well, she did have some fevers but alhamdulillah no ear infections. I can't even remember when the rest of the teeth came in, they were all easy mashallah.

My baby had her first teeth at 6 months I didn't even noticed huby told me n then. Noticed no issues but wth molar and incisors omg she was very cranky and tummy upset and vomitting, gave her panadol and tether wth water inside used to put tht in fridge it really hoped in soothing

my kiddo got his first tooth a week shy of his 8th month (i kept month-to-month notes so that's how i know so accurately haha) and it came in with no problems. alhamdulillah, he had no issues with teething. he just drooled and drooled and drooled like mad- we were changing bibs hourly lol.
he didn't like the teethers or cold washcloths but we did give him children's tylenol on the odd occasion where he seemed restless.

My son started teething when he was 3 months old. by 4 months he had 1 tooth, by 8 months he had 8 teeth (4 teeth on top, 4 teeth on bottom). There were days when he wouldn't take milk or refuse solids, however he did not get any fever.

same timeline here......
she popped a tooth on the bottom.....she was in her car seat and I saw something white in her mouth.....couldn't figure out what it might be cuz I was so not expecting a tooth so early and without any symptoms.....reached in to feel and found the sharp edge.....
she did have some trouble when the molars came......crankiness, fever and some loose motions but Ashton & Parson's powders worked like a charm to sooth those symptoms and give her relief.

my daughter is 14 months now and she has no teeth. occationalyshe get the symptoms as she is on teething period but there is no improvement.both my elder children cut there early teeth at 6 to 7 months but she is getting late.we are wory about her ped said some times it takes 15 months but after 14 months no signs…any one has same issue?should i take is serious?

Fatima seems to be teething. She would spit, foam, grit her gums and not show particular interest in milk. I can see it is painful already. An acquaintance suggested doltee teething drops and a homeopathic medicine bio 21. I have started the teething drops since they seem harmless. I want to start that bio 21 tablets soon because unlike what khawa and few others said, I am afraid she will have tough time teething. You can just tell it from seeing your babies. I am waiting for her to get better completely and then after getting opinion from a doctor I will start bio 21 tablets.

My son had lot discomfort but we just used the teething toys, no medication. We had some very difficult nights as well. He had some ear infections too but they were mostly due to the cold.

I am in a bit of a fix myself .. at his 3 months check, i was told he’s teething and given the gel ! now two months on, still no sign of a tooth.. i didnt use the gel coz i just didnt feel like it was needed .. he does become cranky every now and then but I dunno if thats due to teething or just part of growing up !
everytime i ask him to open his mouth so i can have a look inside , he goes “phbbt” and spats drool into my face !! such a struggle , honestly !
Anyways, is this normal that he started teething at 3 months but still no teeth at 5 months? should i be getting concerned?

Lol I doubt he will open his mouth for you. Try to feel with your finger. We were able to feel my son’s first tooth around 3.5 months but it was fully out by 5 months I guess.
You don’t have to be concerned, sometimes they take a little longer.

CB my baby also started teething at 3 months but her first tooth appeared at 6 months. I used teething gel only when she was way cranky it used to comfort her at once. he will not open just put your finger inside his mouth n check if gums are hard , just before tooth is about to appear you will feel it

My baby is teethng frm 15-20 days. Bt stil no teeth appear. He is of 5 month and 10 days.
I am givng him bio20 . And also drops for crankness. He spits milk a lot and grit his gums. He eats cerelec and i an doing feedng him. Worry abut loose motion. Hw do udeal wid this. Pamper use a more than usual. 3-5 per day.
I am also applyng mustard oil on head. And put it in ear.

why mustard oil in his head and ears? If his tummy is lose just keeps changing his diaper as needed, make sure you keep feeding him milk as that will keep him dehydrated. As for the crankiness, you just have to deal with it.

Mustard oil keep his head calm or cool in case of fever. And avoid ear infection as sum one mentionem above. This tip is frm my MIL. So hv to follow. I do once a day. Drops r homeo nt side effcts. So thy suggest me to. He wil nt cry all time and nt be disturbed.

CB… Kids get the sensation of teething as early as 2 months… It has nothing to do when e actual tooth may pop out… My nephew started teething full force at 3 months but didnt pop his first tooth until 15 months. Imagine the pain for both mom and child… Esr infections, fever, general discomfort… Shudder.
My son is 9 months old and knaws on everything…i feel like he’s been teething since he was 3 months lol. No tooth yet tho.
