Teething.

So my son is teething and I can only describe is as the chucky doll having taken over my sweet little baby. He’s miserable. He basically cries all day and won’t sleep either.

What can I do to make him a little more comfortable.

Also as a side note …biting while breastfeeding is starting to scare me.

Re: Teething.

You get used to the biting. :bummer:

We’d end up having to give ibuprofen so she and we could sleep during the night. During the day we’d endure as best we could, unless it really seemed bad.

Re: Teething.

Sahar... ouch really do they bite alot ?

I was wondering if there are any desi tokas for teething. We haven't given him any meds yet but I'm thinking I'll give him something tonight cause we haven't slept well for days and I'm sure some of the day crankiness is due to him being tired.

Re: Teething.

my cousin uses this for her kid and swears by it- its homeopathic and available at shoppers. http://boiron.ca/en/products/children/camilia/

Re: Teething.

Re: Teething.

I know in Pakistan there is a herbal band like necklaces they put around baby's neck and it relieves pain.. have you girls heard of that?

My sister used that withe her children and teething was very smooth for her.. I may ask her to send me some when my baby starts teething!I need to find out more about it though!

Re: Teething.

ibuprofen if it's rreally bad and use teething gel....how old is your baby? if he can have fruits then definitely give him grapes....!!

Re: Teething.

i am using woodwards teething drops for my baby...it really works:)

Re: Teething.

You can get teething powders that really help too as unlike gels, u rub the powder in the gums and so its affective for longer. Ibuprofen at bed time is also great for a good nights sleep. Depending on how old your child is, I found giving my daughter a carrot stick to gnash her gums at helped relieve some the pain...
