Sounds very likely.

Re: teething baby

For all natural stuff, like teeth sprouting, sitting up, crawling, walking, etc, its best to leave the child on his/her own. Sooner or later they will do the needful. Every kid has their own timeline, and there is no formula that defines when a child will do any of the above things. A lot of first time parents (me and my wife included) tend to worry about why their kid hasnt started walking at 1 year, when the neighbor's kid was walking at 10 months, and why he hasnt sprouted a tooth at 10 months, when someone else's kid had 4 teeth by then. Yes, there is a logical limit to how long one should wait before getting worried about a child that is not walking or talking, but a few months here or there is not an issue.
However, when it comes to reading, speaking, saying words, stuff that can be taught, we can accelerate that by being more interactive with our children.
