All those allergic to bollywood, no need to run away, this is not a bollywood discussion.
I came across the theatrical promo of Akshay Kumar’s new movie called Tees Maar Khan in which one of his dialogues didn’t really go down well with me. Now, I’m not a party pooper, I don’t sit there criticising movies, I just sit back and enjoy the flick. But this particular dialogue just sounded wrong:
*
**Tawayeef ki lut ti izzat bachana *or tees maar khan ko qaed karna dono beqaar hain.
ermm really? The bold bit?! Its pointless to help a prostitute when she’s being abused and assaulted?
yea bbq the line sorta irked me too in the trailer! hmm. =)i know it's supposed to be a joke...but i'm confused..its saying it's ok to let a prostitute get raped. stupid line.

its disgusting..very idiotic dialogue.
maroush... the dialogie basically says saving a prostitute from rape and imprisoning "Tees maar Khan" are both futile
This is just garbage and stupidity if you ask me. Tawaif is not a prostitute from what I gather. Just a dancer.
okay exotic dancer perhaps but the term is used for prostitutes as well because the only other terms in urdu that I am aware of for prostitutes are slangs i think
Think of Tees maar khan as a desi version of Robin Hood.
I'm glad everyone disagrees with the dialogue. IceSoul, what I'm saying is that when a woman, prostitute or not, is being forced to have sex against her will, that is wrong and that is abuse! Helping her out is not beqaar as stated in the dialogue!
