La Phir Ek Baar Wohi Bada-o-Jaam Ae Saqi
Haath Aa Jaye Mujhe Mera Maqam Ae Saqi

Teen Sou Saal Se Hain Hind Ke Maikhane Band
Ab Munasib Hai Tera Faiz Ho Aam Ae Saqi

Meri Meenaye Ghazal Mein Thi Zara Si Baqi
Sheikh Kehta Hai K Hai Ye Bhi Haraam Ae Saqi

Sher Mardon Se Huwa Baisha-e-Tehqeeq Tehi
Reh Gye Sufi-o-Mullah Ke Ghulam Ae Saqi

Ishq Ki Taigh-e-Jigardar Ura Li Kis Ne
Ilm Ke Hath Mein Khali Hai Niyam Ae Saqi

Sina Roshan Ho To Hai Souz-e-Sukhan Ayn-e-Hayat
Ho Na Roshan, To Sukhan Marg-e-Dawam Ae Saqi

Tu Meri Raat Ko Mehtaab Se Mehroom Na Rakh
Tere Paimane Mein Hai Mah-e-Tamam Ae Saqi !

Iqbal wanted to say that After Aurangzeb's death, Muslim power in India weakened. They lost their glory (which he call Meena in this ghazal) and request the God to give back that glory to Muslims of India.

I’m serious because Ninja interpret Iqbal’s poetry for improving conditions of Muslims of India while maintaining harmony with other religions.. and Zaid Hamid interpret it as key to rule others for 800 years
