Technical way of doing Gheebat properly

Gheebat is back-biting. It is gunnah -e- kabira and it is also wide spread among muslims.
No matter how much you deny but it is a fact that mostly observing muslim women and men do it casually without feeling any quilt. Yeah Gossips factories.

Now, here i am not going to give any lengthy lecture on this subject.

here is my suggestion as how to avoid earning loads of sins while talking to your friends, relatives for hours on phone or in company.

Technically, Gheebat is practice in which some person mentions some other person’s sins , bad habits , immoral activities , and blah blah blah. Mostly these bad habits, activities sins are real and sometimes they are not accurate.

Agar aap ko apney kisi rishtedaar , dost ya jan’ney wali/waley ki burayaan karni hain tu dil khol kar karain … Lekin uska naam mat lain, Koi Aisa Andia (hint ) bhi na dain ke sun’ney wala samajh jaye ke aap kis ki baat kar rahey hain. Is tarha agar aap gheebat kartey waqt apko gunah bhi kam hoga our aap ke dil ki bhrass bhi nikal jaye gi.

Ahem. so we have this guy at GS. He logs in once every few days and opens weird threads. No one really gives a damn to his molana pun but he loves to toot his own horn. He recently opened one in religious forum too.

Lengthy lectures are boring. The point is to make conscious efforts to reduce moral descend through intelligence and emotional work around.

Lets talk about serious stuff.

I am not a sinless person.

I do not speak the truth always. I just try. I lie sometimes

There is one technical way to reduce frequency of telling a lie. I have tried and the result is positive.

Coming back to very common phenomena of Backbiting in our culture.

Note : this is religion forum and I am talking on religious ground; primarily islamic rules and regulations.

There are lots of Quranic verses and ahadees which condemn and forbid muslims from backbiting

  • Eating your brothers’ flesh

  • it burns your good deeds like fire burns dry wood

etc .

Now, despite crystal clear rule forbidding us against this practice, I know and you know that we still do it every now and then.

The tact which I am talking about is purely allowed work around to counter backbiting.

What TLK is saying is not gheebat.

I am talking this with full religious authority. Where ever you deem this concept unislamic then speak here. Speak loud and clear.

Heres few examples :

Suppose I am a women. I am telling the story of a last night party …

'*In that wedding party last night the bride was looking stunning. The dress, the hairdo , makeup all was fantastic. One girl’s dress was ditto copy of ( any designer’s name ). You know people look really cheap when they copy the design and go to their darzi for stitching on cheap fabric… blah blah blah

the friend would ask :

'Who was she ? ’

I say :

‘*Some relative .. *’

She would insist

‘*Oh come on, was she Benish ? *’

Just flip the topic to food and flower decorations or start some other person’s gheebat, but DO NOT linger on with same person. This is a technique to avoid increasing number of Gunnah (sins ) on you register during you 40 minute telephonic discussion with your girli friends.

Now this was for girls ^^

Now guys listen ! there is a ways for you to stop people doing this.

First drink, and then think !

Don’t waste time in this boring sin.

There is no way to do gheebat that is technicially allowed. It is because gheebat has two aspects ... the harm to the person being talked about and the harm to person doing the speaking ... harbouring sour and hateful emotions is discouraged in Islam and if you think about it that is the greater purpose of many of the Islamic rules ...

It is highly recommended that we learn to understand that gheebat comes from Satanic whispers and our nufs and if we allow them to fester then they will cause us harm. It is like saying I am not going to commit adultery but I shall look at attractive women ...

The heart is being soiled with what the eyes allow to enter. The heart is poisoned with what thoughts we allow to fester.

You cannot claim a patent to it this trick Moulana cody ? I have been using it for years and I have seen many others using it. :stuck_out_tongue:

But such kind of talks we use on everywhere even in office too without thinking ke its 'gheebat' or not.
