Technical Questions about Muttah & Misyaar.

I travel to many cities and countries on regular basis therefore I am convinced this is solution to my problems and allowed as per this thread.

Anybody knows answers to these questions ?

  1. How many mutaas or misyaars a person can have at a time ?
  2. Is nikah , witnesses are all required too ?
  3. Is it allowed with people of book only ?

mutah is haram and misyar is not a time-limited nikah....

u've got the wrong info to start with....

Mu'tah is mainly practised in the Shia sect, i know a Shia who has done Mutah with a european lady just for the sake of having halal sex, but i dnt have a clue as to it being haram or halal, although i would assume it wrong because im sure u wouldnt want anyone doing that to ur mom/sister/daughter

Well Dear First of all we have to see tht who declare MUTAH haram and then we should discuss this but first thing first it is Nikah (but time period mentioned in begning) and u cant do Mutah with any one only Widows or Divorced are for Muttah mainly. It was to prevent them from haram sin i.e ZINA.
Nikah Misyar or “travellers’ marriage” (Arabic: نكاح المسيار) is the Sunni Muslim Nikah (marriage) contract carried out via the normal contractual procedure, with the specificity that the wife gives up several of her rights by her own free will, such as living with the husband, equal division of nights between wives in cases of polygamy, rights to housing, and maintenance money (“nafaqa”).
The couple continue to live separately from each other, as before their contract, and see each other to fulfil their needs in a halaal manner when they please.
so it is also a limited time period nikah.
One thing everybody should keep in mind tht Islam doesnt let anything incomplete. so just thought about Mutah or Misyar in a positive way tht how it can prevent you from ZINA.
In Normal nikah it is the name of Allah which makes a unknown girl your wife and u can do sex with her IF nikah (which is set format by Allah) is not there then it is known as Zina so tht Nikah thing which make a sex Hilal for you is in Muttah and in Misyar just the diff is time period.

Is there a limit for number of Misyars ? Like how many Misyars one can have at a time ? Should there be winesses and qazi at hand for Misyar ?
