If a poster edits his/her post within the first 2 or 5 min (whatever the time frame is) the line “this thread was edited” doesnt addup in the post, it was implimented as i believe bcos if there is a typo or something wrong a poster has a chance to fix it.
There is a lil bit problem tho, which i just noticed. If the post is edited by the Mod within the same initial time frame the post still does not add the line which says “edited by XYZ”. Not a big deal really, but technically it should.
Jony, it has always been that way. Within that time span, whoever edits the post, nothing is written at the bottom. I sometimes used to edit Phatiama's posts and she never knew I did it :D But now we have the PM system, so technically the user should receive a PM whenever a post is edited.
Perhaps techies can eliminate that time limit that's provided before the note shows up.
yeah & u wouldnt even know, no PM, no line added at the bottom. & when u tell bhabi it wasnt u who was flirting with teenage girls in cafe she wont beleive u & u cant prove it
