I never had a business, but used to design web pages as a hobby. Then, lost my interest in programming; now, I am thinking of going back to it again, not necessarily toward web designing but something similar. Although, I would love to have a business, proly soon, but right now I am trying to gain some experience.

yupp, I have acompnay for the last like 6-7 years. I sell made-to-order PC's and all other PC related components. Also do webdesign.
Maniac, can you make a living out of that?

I am not old enough to start my own business right now but inshallah soon i want to start a bisnass of webhosting, web designing/programming, graphic design, mutimedia deisgns (cd presentations, 3d animation etc).

Gizzy, any tips on starting a business like yours in North America.. ?? like what sort of budget did you start with.. how did you do your marketing and any pit falls one should look after?

Gizzy, you sure can if you target the right kind of market and have some good capital to start with.
I have started with ZERO dollars , right now its a hobby, but insha'Allah give it a year or two and it will be good enough to suppliment my normal income.
