1 Haynes (WI)
2 Grenidge (WI) (I would never disturb this great opening pair)
3 Gavaskar (Ind)
4 Miandad (Pak)
5 Richards (WI)
6 Dujon (WI)
7 Imran (Pak)
8 Kapil (Ind)
9 Hadlee (NZ)

Good team- however I think Gawaskar would refuse to play if he was not the opener. Plus Richards has to be #3!!

I dont want any other Team - Just give me the West Indies Team of 80s with Clive Lloyd as Captain.

  1. Haynes
  2. Greenidge
  3. Richards
  4. Gus Logie
  5. Lloyd
  6. Dujon
  7. Marshall
  8. Holding
  9. Roberts 10.Garner 11.Gomes

PS :- Please dont kill me for including Gus Logie and Gomes, because I think West Indian Team under Lloyd was the perfect team ever

From what I can remember, Dujon came in after Lloyd retired but I may be wrong. I think the wickie was Derrick Murray ?? Also Gomes was a batsman was he not? You missed out Fawwad Bachus, Colin Croft, Kallicharren !!

KaliCharan, Croft and Murray weren't the players of 80s. Gomes was a Batting all rounder who could ball and dujon started his career under Lloyd's captaincy.

I selected Gus Logie because he was an excellent fielder and a decent batsman. I agree Bachus could have been there but I will go with Logie.
