I don't understand the question. How to check if there is positive team bonding or not? Or steps to make bonding better?
Re: Team bonding
Go to team lunches and dinners.
Help each other out on problems.
Have team meetings to get the bearings (could be part of number 2).
Re: Team bonding
good ideas Dopple. However these are already in practice . I am looking for more varied techniques which will keep the senior members of the team interested and looking forward to the activities .
Re: Team bonding
Recent team building activities my husband has put together/participated in: volunteering at s soup kitchen feeding the homeless, geocaching, Segway tour
Re: Team bonding
There is no team without a weekly team meeting. I know meetings are annoying but this should be first step and everyone must go through with wutever is happening with their professional stuff. Then there must be lunches which should involve more personal discussions.
After that monthly team events like bowling, skating etc, which is like total fun.
Also there must be birthday and career anniversary celebrations.
Its just amazing how small things change an entire environment.
Re: Team bonding
Meetings are overrated. Weekly meetings without a purpose are hell. Lunch or dinner time is alone time - who needs to be with people you see the whole day. Get away from me. You hear?
Yes - if one gets paid to attend team meetings, lunches, dinners, bowling events, skating, it is not such a bad idea.
As long as one gets paid time and a half.
Anyone up for bowling?
Re: Team bonding
yeah but these kind of outdoor activities are expensive and they are done when a team gets doubles their target . Its not something that can be done every quarter . know what i mean?
Re: Team bonding
And no, Sid. I am not available for bowling or skating.
