Basically it's a good idea to drop CV's in schools at which you want to teach - they will contact you whenever there is a position available. You should also look for academic position openings for asst. professors in different universities since that is also a great way to start a teaching career.

What sort of job you are looking for...depends on that.....if you intend for Govt schools then it will be only through advert..
if private....you do the following..
See the Jobs sections of newspapers and send CV's
Take your CV to some places you prefer...and see if you can land an interview or something..
Talk to people you have connections with.....you know the 'Paawa'/Reference/Sifaarish way.....

yah right i was asking for school teaching job. thanx all for ur good information. actually i wanna job at convent of jesus and merry lahore. So i make CV and either post them or give by hand by myself.

Give them by hand - shows you really want it. And make sure you follow the latest format of CV's - it puts up a good impression.

You should visit the place, will help you find out better if they have any positions and gives you a chance to talk to the faculty. Usually you never hear back from randomly posted CVs.

Here we have to apply/drop our CV at Ministry of Education where they decide/nominate us in which Government school, our experience will be suitable.
B4 u drop ur CV at school, check out he website of said Ministry (in case if there is any job opportunity).
