Teacher student relationship in Pakistan

For quite sometime I thought I should not start this topic as some people in Pakistan might take it as an offense. But finally I thought that by shying away from the truth we can’t find solution to it.

I have studied in Pak and now studying abroad. Other than exceptional individual cases I see few problems in both socieies which require attention.

If you have studied in Pakistan or abroad, which ones of the following you find applicable to your college / university. And if any problem does exist / existed in your college, what might be the possible solution to it.

Is “Learning” preferred by a student or his “ego” when a teacher’s anger is genuine and reasonable ?

To what extent you see favouritism among teachers and what are possible reasons ?

Are teachers mostly not given nick names / abusive names by students in his absence ?

Does a teacher talk to a student like he would talk to his child, and is response of the student same as that of a child to his father ? (In terms of sincerity and respect)

If an elder male teacher unintentionally smiles at a female student of his daughter’s age, is it “never” taken in a negative sense by “any” male student ?
Does any teacher’s behaviour makes you doubtful about his “Niyyat” (intentions) ?

Is frequent weeping by “some” girls an effective tool to gain sympathy of a teacher, inorder to get “any” approval like for submiting the homework late..?

Are “be-sharam” replies not expected from “some” male students when they are asked for the reason of being late in class ?
Are some teachers over strict even when a student comes late for the first time ?

Do male students keep their gaze, voice and shoulders low while passing by a teacher instead of laughing out loudly and secretly passing comments on new and young female teachers ?
