I’m glad they took a stand though. It would have been easy enough to take it as a joke and move on with life.

That was so mean of that teacher. How traumatic for the child. And they are just suspending the teacher for 5 days! I bet if this was a racist comment over an African American the teacher would have been fired! Not that it matters but the kid is of Arab descent so doesn’t really have anything to do with the Taliban anyway who belong to Afghanistan and Pakistan.

^^ True. I think this is a reflection on the African American community vs the Muslim Community.
We need an Al Sharpton. I don’t always agree with hsi tactics but he gets things done.

I was posting this news here and I found out that you have posted it.

I want to add my comment that Broward County Public School is taking this matter, while dad is also taking legal steps against teacher.

I am confident on justice system… :k:
