So,
I got an outfit from allecante in Lahore for my sisters Valima. She shipped it out through TCS International. Unfortunately, its been past a whole week and TCS has not updated their tracking system or my parcel is probably missing somewhere around the world. Is this normal? Anyone have
any idea what I can do to find out. I have called/emailed ect; no responses.

They have got some problem in their tracking system .....I send some documents too last week and they didnt updated it later I called them and I asked they said its delivered
So call them and ask from them you will know where it has reached

call TCS and ask them to give you a tracking number for DHL against the TCS tracking number. They hand over all parcels to DHL in Dubai anyway.

Guys, how long does it take from new york clearance?
^No one can predict that time. It's with customs and neither the sender company nor the receiver has an access to that. They can release it anytime with or without charging taxes/customs.
I found out yesterday tcs hands over the parcels to UPS after clearance in the USA.

guys, I want to know what designer suppose to do when customer doesn't receive the package and if it was late and wedding was over plus customer spent $350 for the urgent dress. answer from designers. thnaks

If the designer completed the dress in time and has a proof/receipt to show that he/she dispatched the dress through a service that officially commits to deliver in an acceptable time (some services like Pakistan Post take weeks at times while DHL/fedex claims to deliver within 4 working days) , then I dont think there is anything that the designer can do if there are delays except responding and following the shipping company out of courtesy. Anything stuck in customs is nothing in his/her control and all you can do is follow the parcel at your end if tracking shows it is in your country.
I know this is not helpful for you being a customer but as a designer,I cannot think of doing much on my end unfortunately because if I have completed and dispatched in time, that was all I was supposed to do unless I am personally delivering the parcel at the customer’s doorstep

Well, i have also called customs, shipping couries etc. tracking # doesnt exist in united states. Designer promised me tcs take 3-5 days to be delivered, which did not happen.
