It’s that time of year again! For those of us who actually get back money, this can be a very exciting time!

What will you be doing with your tax return? Spend it on a big ticket item, get a lot of little things you’ve wanted for a long time, or stash it all away into savings?

Personally, I’m going to be using it to add to what I’ve been saving up for a pricey designer bag, 5% goes to sadqa, and the remainder goes into savings never to be touched!

Leave it on my desk for a few months until someone comments on how lazy I've been. Then I'll whine and moan and drag myself to the bank and cash it in.

^ Huh? Doesn't it come in direct deposit or card form only? Or are those two options exclusive only to H&R Block?

You can sign up for automatic deposit. Continuing my theme of being lazy about taxes, I haven't done that either.

I never get anything, they always want me to pay more. I think I got like, £13 once years back and I just gave it to my mum :(

I cashed my last years check 2 days before the expiration date ( its good for a year so imagine!) .. Im so lazy with depositing checks.. I dont know will savee.. it for tuition fee. hmm

I got over a grand one year, apparently I paid tax during student working days and didnt realise I wasnt supposed to. I gave it to my sister for her house.

I should have kept it, I could have had my own house by now :/

Most likely we’ll end up owing taxes. well hubby will, so no returns for us this year :hinna:
