Tax in UK

Anyone has any idea on the percentage of tax I have to pay from my profit? It’s a UK limited company.
Thanks.

Get a cash in hand job!!!!

Re: Tax in UK

He owns a company. He can supress his sales as other desies do over there! But that's a shameful thing.

Re: Tax in UK

nothing is more shameful than paying 30% tax dude!!! phew…30%

Re: Tax in UK

Salaried people do pay alomost that percentage of tax through "payee" in the UK and deduction at source here in Pakistan.

Re: Tax in UK

Only larger companies pay 30%. I think that you would fall into the 20% bracket.

Re: Tax in UK

20% on profit only, right? Do i have to pay any tax on company's assets or anything??

Re: Tax in UK

No just on profit!

Re: Tax in UK

Thanks guys...

Re: Tax in UK

Besides the Corporation Tax you would also have to pay Income Tax for any employees of the company. Plus Value Added Tax on sales if the turnover is above X amount.

Re: Tax in UK

yaar tum log 30% pay ro rahey ho, ham kaam karney waluN ko Germany maiN 50% tak tax pay karna parta hay, :(

Re: Tax in UK

No wonder industry there has been crying lol.

Re: Tax in UK

Wake up mate. We pay upto 60%. In Schengen the rule is "the more u earn they more you pay". TAX Bracket raises with earnings. Be happy that u will be paying only 20%.

Re: Tax in UK

Bump!

60% tak? ye kon sa mulk hay bhai? MaiN to samaj raha tha kay ham log jo Germany maiN rehtay haiN wohi sab say ziada tax pay kartay haiN. We pay upto 55% (depending on the tax class).

Re: Tax in UK

55% - 60% tax??? :hayaa:
I usually pay no income tax, no vat!! That’s why I’m crying over 20%. Well, guess I should be happy…
