Looks like they are on their way tomorrow. The biggest boost will be reducing VAT from 17.5% to 15%. If implemented immediately it could boost spending before Christmas thereby stimulating the economy. It should also have a positive effect on FTSE.

The higher tax bracket should be bring down to, ermm lets say 22%.
