At night b4 u sleep say ur prayers then say tobah ...
in the morning if u find a small gift under ur pillow it means that God has forgiven u.:)

i believe that if u sincerely and truly repent with ALL your heart and soul then Allah does forgive...coz He is most Merciful and Forgiving and loves us...

the point is u have to be asking for forgiveness with all openess of heart and then dont go back to that mistake...allah will forgive u inshallah.

All praise be to Allaah, Lord of the Worlds. May peace and blessings of Allaah be upon the Messenger, his household and companions.
Repentance has a status that no other form of worship has. This is why Allah is extremely happy when a servant repents.
This pleasure (of Allah) has a great impact on the heart of the one repenting. Hence, the repenting person reaches the status of being amongst the beloved through his repentance.
Allah’s says,
"O those of My servants who have transgressed against your own selves, despair not of Allah's mercy. Allah does forgive all sins, for surely He is the most forgiving most merciful one." (39:53)
"Except those who repent, have faith and good deeds, those Allah will charge their sins for good deeds. Certainly Allah is most forgiving and merciful."
(Qur'aan 25:70)
