circumcision?? man what an idiotic crap!

Is it art?
Is it done to make one look better?
Is it done for beauty reasons??

Don’t be ridiculous please………here the topic is tattoo, which is done as an art or hobby or to make your self look cool/hip etc…

We are the Taleban-Resistance is Futile

So, if tattoo’s aren’t allowed, for the basis there is no need to have one, because Allah made everyone the way he wanted them to.

Why do I see loads of Muslim girls

  • Hair dyed.
  • Wear Colour contacts
  • Wear Makeup (Lipstick/Foundation)
  • Wear Jewellry
  • Paint Finger/Toe Nails

Why do I see loads of Muslim guys.

  • Hair dyed.
  • Have Earings
  • Rings/Jewellry (except Gold usually)

Funny how, we can say we should FORBID tattooes.. When I bet HALF OF the people participating in this FORUM, have one or the other that I mentioned in this list.

I guess you’re all going to hell.

Arai

arai,

I think you are equating the practices of some groups of Muslims to that of Islam itself. At the end of the day, that is not a correct generalisation. Similarly, somebody cannot generalise the activities of some groups of Sikhs as a guide to what Sikhism is.

They shoot partypoopers, don't they?

Arai,
Beforebeing judgmental, have you thaught that Naeem &Kajoor Or me may not have a valid or correct explanation.Yes muslims are allowed to read it your self without intermediary brahmin priest purohit, but i dont think ythese poster have total knowlege why it is prohibited.I defenitely think make up ,which is eaasable & not permanent is not the same thing.AND religion desnt have to expainjustify or be scientific All the time ,and that i speaki s true ofALL religion,so look for logic reason rational, for many good things in life ae left unexplained for its apeal.

FYI bro.

I have no idea what you just said.

Please, re-phrase or re-write that. It was several opinions merged into one.

Yes, someone up there said, I shouldn't treat these people, or generalize Islam because of these people.

But, the funny thing is. These people claim to be highly religious, etc, these are the same people that will ridicule a person for eating pork, or non-halal meat, etc, or jump into fierce debates with non-muslims about religion. These are the same people. And if what up there was correct about Allah creating everyone the way they were created, so they need not to alter themselves. Why is it they still alter themselves.

Another funny yet interesting point is. God or evolution never created clothes on us, isn't by covering our body telling God we don't want to show what he has given us?

Arai

As-salaamu 'Alaikum to Muslims,

Alhamdulillah,

Changing Allah's creation without permission is obeying to Shaytaan who, Allah SWT tells us, had said:
"They actually call upon none but rebellious Satan, whom Allah has cursed. and he had said (to AllaH), "I will surely take from among Your servants a specific portion. I will mislead them, give them false promises, command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and command them so they will change the creation of Allah." Certainly whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah is in tremendous loss." (an-Nisaa 4:117-119)

Allah SWT has created the human beings in the best form:
"Verily, We have created the human being in the best of stature." (at-Tin 95:4)

Changing the creation of Allah without permission is indeed an act of deviation that deserves punishment.

Ibn Mas'ud (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger SAW said:

"Allah cursea those (women) who tattoo (for others) and those who get tattoos, thsoe who pluck the facial hair (for others) and those who have their facial hair plucked, those who connect their hair with other (Fake) hair, and those who file their teeth for beauty - they all change Allah's creation." (al-Bukhari wa Muslim).

This hadith has mentioned women in particular because they are normally the ones that seek to beautify themselves more then men do. But this warning applies to both male and female as because the condition for the curse is declared :changing Allah's creation.

At-Tahanawi said:
"It is established that changing Allah's creation is a cause for the curse, and that whatever Allah's Messenger SAW prohibits is prohibited by Allah." (Bayan ul-Qur'an).

What you all have been discussing as saying things like circumcision, this is a change in Allah's creation, why do people do this?

This question can simply be answerd because Allah SWt has commanded us to, thus giving permission. Changing creation without permission is a deviation.

Circumcision is a quality for a good clean nature (fitrah).

A'ishah (May Allah SWT be pleased with her) reported that Allah's Messenger SAW said:

"There are ten qualities of fitrah: trimming the mustaches, sparing the beard, siwak (brushing the teeth), inhaling water (to clean the nose) [and rinsing the mouth], cutting the nails, washing the finger knuckles, plucking the armpit hair, shaving the pubic hair, washing the private parts with water, [and circumcision]." (Muslim, Abu Dawud, Ahmad, Ibn Shaybah, and others. the part in brackets is not in Muslim (Sahah ul-Jami 'no. 2222)).

The fitrah never changes with time: Allah says:

"the pure nature according to which Allah has created the people. There is no change in Alah's creation." (ar-Room 30:30).

Insha'Allah this will clear the misconception.

Jazak'Allahu Khair.
Zakariyyah
