Does the kind of food that the mother eats during pregnancy have an impact on the development of the baby’s sense of taste? For example, if the mother eats a lot of unhealthy junk, does the baby develop a disliking for healthy foods like fresh fruits and vegetables?
I have seen babies who nearly puke when given mashed banana or peas or even dates! This one baby I used to babysit wouldn’t use the dummy unless it was slightly dipped in honey! Could it have been due to the fact that the mother never ate bland foods while pregnant?
