This is the Al-Amariya bomb shelter in Baghdad, Iraq. A bomb shelter, as any genius will tell you, is used to house innocent civilians during a war. Then why was this shelter bombed by the US forces?
Whats more apalling is the length to which they went to bomb this shelter. This shelter was designed by a scandinavian firm. The US army obtained the blue prints for the design and construction of the shelter from this scandinavian company, and while the war was still on, gave out a contract to a defence firm to develop a special bomb that would penetrate the ‘bomb proof’ reinforced walls of this shelter. That resulted in the production of a deadly ‘spyro’ bomb, one that travelled in a spiral, worked like a drill bit, and pierced through the ultra thick ceiling of this shelter. That created a hole large enough for a conventional bomb to be dropped in. The occupants of the shelter were never able to get out, since it was a sealed building, and will good reason. The UN observers later on found bodies of more than 500 women and children virtually fried against the walls of the shelter.
When it comes to innocent muslims being killed or I would say being victims of "TERRORISM" convicted by Americans or Jews, is is called providing justice and bringing peace to the world.
I’ve heard people say, " oh, it will never be the same again." and " i didn’t know us had enemies." talking about how this is not just an attack on America but an attack on civilization!! BS, hundreds of muslims die everyday cause of them. What’s really sad is seeing muslims be all depressed and supporting these kufaars.

Well anyway… There are countless such cases that have been committed by the same US of A.
America deserved it, It deserves a whole lot more but for time being this is enuff.
I’m not sayin’ that I’m happy at what happend. My heart goes out to the innocent people that died, it was not their fault. But then muslims all over the world r being killed in greater #'s
I am as sickened by the deaths of Americans in New York, as I am by the deaths of Iraqis in Iraq. We should be taking a common stand against ALL terrorists, not just those that harm muslims.

The idea behind this picture was not to demonstrate that the US got done to them what they did to Iraq in the above picture.
The fact is, Americas foreign policy has been responsible for many incidences like the above. And the WTC, believe it or not, is a relatively small example, which hopefully will make the US realize what it is that led to this incident. The US has the upper hand. They need to straighten their approach to other countries, which will naturally result in them keeping their hands off the US as well.

I agree that the Americans are far from innocent. I can totally understand the "what goes around comes around" consensus of many Muslim forums in the past week. We all know that America has been making a mess of other people’s human rights for the last 50 years.
However, I still find it hard to accept that this somehow makes the WTC attack 'okay' or ‘acceptable’ in some way. The Americans might have had the lack of ethics to call it ‘collateral damage’ when they were doing the terrorizing, but for me murder is still murder, regardless of who suffers.
There is no disagreement here. The trade center tragedy was not acceptable, nor was it okay. I was 4 blocks away, and could very easily have been buried in rubble at this time had I been on my lunch break that day.
The only point is, the US is quick to chalk out military retaliation, when they clearly know that is not going to solve anything. What will effectively rid the world of this ongoing cycle of violence is a fix in the foreign policy of the US. And frankly, when the US bombs civilians in other countries, it doesnt pay much attention to any foreign policy garbage. Now that they have been hit at home, perhaps this will knock some sense into them and make them fix the cause of such attacks.
The US, being the victim should not be the policeman, judge, jury and executioner all in one. President Bush has just made the USA a nation of vigilantes and by declaring a ‘war’ only legitimizes attacks on military and economic targets from both sides.
As such, I agree that the current military campaign is not ‘going to solve anything’.

I'm a day late, but thought I would refresh this anyways. In the early hours of 13 February 1991, two U.S. "smart" bombs penetrated the al-Ameriyah shelter in Baghdad, Iraq. At the time, the shelter was housing hundreds of civilians. Estimates differ, but the minimum I have read is that 400 - mostly women and children - were incinerated during the attack.

America is downright evil. In retaliation of the 2,900 people that died in WTC, they have killed more than 100 times the amount in Afghanistan. Not Al-Qaeda members, but innocent civillians.
