Salaam,
Is it permissable for women to go to the masjid to read tarawiah namaaz. Bearing in mind that the women have a seperate entrance and read namaaz on a different floor of the masjid???
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
why would it be "not permissible"?
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
Different ulema have different opinions-
In Ahnaaf- this is not recomended -
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
but still permissible.
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
Wait two more weeks, and then insha allah, we will have a definite answer on this perplexing question. Just two more weeks. Thank you.
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
why faisal are you get ur fatwa cert in two weeks?
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
Yes, it is permissible.
There’s a hadith that more or less states that it’s preferred for women to perform salah at home. However, if they wish to pray at the mosque granted that they abide by the Islamic dresscode, then do not stop them from it.
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
Ok, the reason i asked at this stage in Ramadan was because i was asking my aunt if she was going to read namaaz at the masjid, and she said no because of the chances of men looking at her, thus making her wudhu mukruh, and said that it was not permissable. Even though she sometimes goes. But then the quetion i failed to ask was if it is not permissable then why do masjids have pray areas for women, and accomodate women for namaaz???
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
Right about Eid ul Fitr, we shall finally resolve all issues surrounding Taraweeh. Insha Allah.
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
Didn’t knew it was so easy for women’s wudhu to become mukruh.
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
^ yeah same here.. ![]()
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
What do you mean ?
Is Allah decided to send speciall messenger to resolve it.
It is about time though.
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
Wouldn;t the guys wuzu go bad if he was lusting over a woman???
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
REsolve or not we can easily put the issue on the back burner since we will all be very busy fighting over when to celebrate Eid…ahhhhh the joys!
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
What exactly do you mean by wuzu becoming “makrooh”? Wuzu is like On or Off nothing in between.
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
nope, even if someone sees someone nude, his/her wuzu would still be okay.
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
perhaps that is what he means that people will stop discussing this issue by then.
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
No, the wudhu does not go makrooh, nor does it break.
Re: Tarawiah Namaaz
yea, niyat may not be in good condition ![]()
