Yamaha,
There is a huge flaw in your argument. The division of India was based on the fact that certain regions in India had a Muslim majority and that they had to be contigous. So certain regions like the Lakhshadweep Islands, north east Bihar, North Malabar and west Rohilkhand, which had Muslim majorities but were not contigious were not included in Pakistan
It is a historic fact that the Kashmir valley has had a Muslim majority since the middle ages. There isnt a single district in the valley that has a Hindu majority, so where will this Panun Kashmir be created.
I have always adovocated the Dixon or Chenab formula, which would give eastern Jammu, Zanskar and Ladakh to India, on account of their non-Muslim majorities to India, while western Jammu, Kargil and the valley should go to Pakistan.
And on the ethnic cleansing point, the Jat and Rajput Muslims of eastern Jammu, were also expelled in 1947.
