Women in the West who converted often do so because they believe the niqab is important to Islam, when it really isn’t. Hijab is fine, but the niqab is too much, and in the West, the niqab is counterproductive.

You also forget to note that these niqabi converts often support the Taliban and were instrumental in the support for Lal Masjid. I’m sure many people here support the right of niqabis who participated in the Lal Masjid protests 2 years ago, right?

First of all the people in Pakistan and Pakistani government do not know what happend in Lal Masjid so how come you talk about lal masjid as if you were inside lal masjid.

I know people who are clean shaved and women who wear mini skirt (yeah i do know them lolz ) who support Al Qaida so ur argument about niqabi supporting Taliban is baseless and irrelevant.
