lol just sayin' you never know they have crazy laws about using your fireplace only on certain days and tandoors make a lot of smoke

Yes, real tandoori exist here! Pretty much every single Pakistani/Indian restaraunt serves authentic, fresh, garam, garam naan!!

Waise, we have a friend that actually installed a tandoori oven in their outdoor kitchen!!! Yes, they are loaded!! Lol!!! But they have the best bar b q parties!!!

most desi restaurants which serve naan have gas fired tandoors. if you wanna substitute for a tandoor, buy a stone slab and bake in your regular electric oven. good luck :slight_smile:

no i mean here in pak if we dont wana make roti..we go and get rotis from tandoors..so i m asking same for usa

In our city there is this just one Pakistani restaurant and they sell 20 nans for 10 dollars . Since it is far from out home , we buy those naans only for parties or when my wife makes nihari or paya. We freeze the leftover naans and eat them later.

A family friend and a home based caterer make naans in their cooking range oven and they do pretty amazing job.

yup, every pakistani grocery store in our city sells fresh, ghar ki roti...I buy them a couple of times a week..12 for $4.99
