Tandoori chicken filling for chicken bread

Does anybody have a good one that works well with chicken bread? Or maybe another alternative filling? I’m getting tired of the chicken/creamy white sauce one.

I was thinking maybe broccoli & cheese would be a good filling?

I’m open to any and all suggestions!

Yes cheese can be a good addition. Try minced meat, it also goes well as filling. You can also try mushrooms n corns if you like them as addition in chicken.

Is chicken bread really that famous? I saw the recipe for it on that Fauzia’s kitchen fun website. I make something similar but instead of bread I use puff pastry, and instead of chicken I use tuna with spices like kali mirch and dhania powder - maybe you can try that filling?

Do you mind sharing the recipe you currently use?

For a tandoori chicken filling, what comes to mind is xjatti2khanx](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/members/xjatti2khanx.html)'s recipe for tandoori pie. I had tried it out and it was really good. I think that same concept can be applied to chicken bread. The filling was chicken marinated in a tandoori spice mix, yogurt and lemon juice. Then grilled on a pan. Shredded and mixed with cubes of a fresh mozzerella ball. The fresh cheese melted beautifully!

Guac..right now I’m following Fauzia’s Kitchen Fun’s creamy chicken filling (it’s basically a white sauce/bechamel with the shredded chicken…I spice it up a bit more with curry powder)

I’m going to try Jhatti’s way…I have a cookie swap/gift exchange Friday night and I wanted to take something savory along with the baked goods

Back when I used to cook before moving back with parents I used to always experiment. I used to make pies quite often- even made my own pastry blagging all quantities so used all sorts inside. Our fav was using lamb with chick peas or you could have diced potatoes etc and use that for the filling. Basic onion reduced down with tomatoes paste chucked in with lamb and chickpeas. Add that instead of chicken maybe? I like my chillies and spices so naturally all my stuff ends up having an asian twist but you could alter to suit. Reminded me of me and my cousins attempt at chicken bread for iftar this year- ended up finally coming out the oven about 11pm. Sadly it wasnt worth the wait either as the bread had the density and texture of a brick. We live and learn! My food is mostly edible though!
