For Toronto Guppies…what do you guys think of the Tamil Protests going on in the city?

I'm peeved as well.
Were thugs protesting when their terrorist brethren blew up schools? Were women and children storming onto highways when their terrorist brethren cleansed the north of muslims? Were community leaders crying for peace when their terrorist brethren were winning the war?
Sri Lanka is weeks away from dealing with the Tamil problem once and for all. Let them do their work. There's finally a glimmer of hope in that part of the world and it'd be tragic if these flag waving baboons made our politicians do something stupid.

I got stuck in the middle of the protest when they were on Yonge Street..as I was walking towards ryerson. I am soooo annoyed ahhh. And last time they camped front of my office building and started coming into foyer area...so our building had to call the security :D
I don't really understand what they are fighting for...just for a small tip of Sri Lanka island....it is so tiny to begin with. And isn't it all fishing area mostly...someone shed some light pls
I am shocked at how united the Tamils are in this cause. They joined hands ALL ACROSS the yonge and university subway line. Like whoa.
